I feel that way too! I think it's such an endearing thing to say. It sort of shows the progress of their relationship, from having fallen in love with each other to now having made all of this commitment and plans for their future together.

I dont know if anyone else has noticed this and im sorry if its been brought up before but...

Why is it that from the end of Eclipse onwards into Breaking Dawn (i think its about just after Jacob kisses Bella at the camp site), Edward begins to refer to Bella as "love."
I never noticed it before in any of the other books except the last bit of Eclipse and most of Breaking Dawn! Kinda wierd and I hate it cause it sounds like cockney slang (english thing for anyone unsure) !

i feel the same. its weird. everytime i see that i just edit it out in my mind and but bella or something that doesnt make him sound ... 40 years old

I didn't have a problem with it, cos its a term of endearment, but twilight was the first falling in love, New moon was parting, I think, can't be 100 % sure but he did say it when he was in her room towards the end of the book, but eclipse they were in a settled relationship. Once you are settled you do call each other nice things........sometimes
