i would love love love if SM finished Midnight Sun. i read it a long time ago and i was hoping for more as time went but there isnt. Maybe someone could find someway to write her a letter and ask for her to finish it. I think someone should, though, write to her after the movies. I also think shes not writing because of all the publicity the movies are getting and since she is part of the movies i dont think she has time. Im going to be patient. May my patience will pay off in the near future!

I guess I can sorta see why she isn't writing it now....cos she needs to have her frame of mind right etc. But I think she needs to finish it for herself *totally unselfish nod* I think though if we all start petitions, its just going to take her longer to get into it and that would be a shame. I only started with twilight a couple weeks ago, but am a quick learner lol, but while waiting for the books to arrive (after seeing the DVD) I read MS on her site and absolutely loved it. I think it enhances the books and the films, cos you get an idea of how his mind works and what he is really thinking (and hearing) yes we need it, asap, but bugging SM I fear is only going to prolong it.......

I said that I would not read Midnight Sun but I can't stand it anymore. I am going to print it out and read it. I will still buy it (and read it over and over again) if she ever publishes it, but the suspense is killing me. I want to know the story from Edward's point of view

Yeah, I think that was a stupid decision on SMeyer's part. Punishing the fans? It wasn't their fault. That made me dislike her. A lot. I haven't read the draft, I don't plan on it. I don't care.

It isn't that she is punishing the fans. she was just so devastated by the leak she didn't feel like writing it anymore.

I agree that the book is probably finished. I understand her anger at having her work leaked. But seriously people are so crazy about the series that they will buy book even if they have read the leaked manuscript. I know that I will buy it if it ever gets published. I did read the copy that she released on her site and it was great to finally see some things from Edward's viewpoint. And surprisingly what I imagined he was thinking was pretty close to what was in Midnight Sun. I only wish that there were more insights into Edward's character throughout the rest of the series. I think we finally see more into his true character in the last book. Up until Breaking Dawn and the later part of Eclipse I was still a little p***** at Edward's character. But after seeing how concerned he was when she became pregnant I finally was able to get over the whole disppearing act. But I still wish she could have spent a few years with Jacob and had the babies that were mentioned.
